The Audiopulse RMB is the finest midbass door woofer we offer. Literally a combination of a subwoofer motor platform with a midrange soft-part system that combines high BL with high sensitivity, the RMB makes for a seriously capable dynamic driver component. Apart from the bottomless design, the most unique feature of this driver is our linear magnetic conductor circuit within the motor itself. This new design replaces the standard steel t-yoke which is a main contributor to non-linear distortion at higher frequencies. The X13 motor does not conduct electrically like steel, but still remains highly permeable and therefore provides high BL without non-linear distortion characteristics unlike conventional dynamic midrange drivers.

The Audiopulse RMB is not another overseas manufactured component speaker. In fact this miniature driver is hand made in the same San Diego facility as the rest of our high end bass drivers. With a 2” flat-wound voice that offers superior packing density to anything else, a tight gap with more gauss and motor than any component door speaker before it, and an ultra light weight cone-surround assembly system, you’re looking at the world’s most capable midbass punch in a 6.5” or 8” size.

Every single part of this driver has been given careful attention. We use a special lightweight cone which is a combination of German manufactured and patented Rohacel core material in-between two pieces of carbon fiber. Compared to Kevlar or any other single material cone assembly, composite sandwich structures provide the best strength to weight ratio by far.

We also intended that this speaker remains ultra slim. The custom cast basket and motor assembly does not take up any more space than they need, and the high BL motor ensures that it will work in that small space without compromising the alignment requirements. The RMB also employs a voice coil long enough to displace some serious air, and it’s robust enough to be used for low frequency content that other small mid-bass drivers simply collapse on. So if you need to dig down with serious SPL, this driver won’t run out of xmax and distort even at higher power levels. The RMB is truly the last component driver you’ll need to buy.
