| The EPIC is NOT another meek entry level driver! Engineered to be more than a mild-mannered subwoofer, this beast is very capable of embarrassing all of its rivals by any standard of measurement and one glance up-close and you’ll see why. At twenty plus pounds the EPIC does what many other “entry” drivers in its respective category can’t even come close to. The trick is, the EPIC is not just a watered down version of our higher performers, but rather it’s designed to be lighter, smaller and ultimately more affordable without deviating from our world-class displacement and low distortion tolerance promise that we guarantee. Matched with just 300 watts, the highly efficient EPIC will surprise even the most enthusiastic and critical audiophiles with substantial, ultra clean low frequency bass, but pair it twice that power and it will take you to the next level! While the EPIC is indeed sensitive, it is equipped with high excursion soft-parts and a long voice coil capable of taking on reference power levels up to 1000 watts. |

Designing a high performance high value product is possibly the greatest challenge, but we’re entirely proud of what this mighty performer does. Displacing over 2” of usable excursion and matched with very light weight, yet robust soft parts makes this driver efficient, dynamic, and loud. The voice coil is as robust as they come. With a wide winding width, and four hefty layers of aluminum wound on a thermally hungry aluminum former, the EPIC can take more power than it even needs. The good news is this means thermal compression levels are minimal, and SPL is easily achieved without spending a fortune on amplification.
Make no mistake, be it our entry driver or not, a single EPIC will surly provide more SPL Than most people demand and ironically enough, this driver handsomely competes with many top of the line offerings from other brands in not only SPL but distortion too! Complete with a faraday ring, large motor, and short gap-plate for high linearity, we’re certain the EPIC is the SQ driver to measure all others against.
