The Audiopulse flagship is the most linear lowest distortion highest displacement low frequency driver in the world. Nothing, and we mean nothing, will outperform this driver for low-end displacement, distortion, or SPL. This is the end-game for subs, and we we’re setting the record straight with 80 pounds of high quality and low distortion.

So why does this thing need to be so big if all it does is sound good? Most drivers don’t sound good because linear considerations are not implemented to prevent harmonic distortion. The LMS-Ultra uses our patent-pending LMS voice coil technology which gives it perfect BL force linearity up to 30 mm each way and a 70% BL at 38mm! Don’t be fooled by typical high excursion numbers being thrown around. This driver stood up to a Klippel analyzer and showed what true linear BL was all about. Believe us, most everything else at beyond 30mm looks pretty awful, even if it can move well past that point. The problem is not moving just 30mm one way, but to do that with linear BL is nothing short of remarkable. There is no free lunch, and linear BL could result in lower sensitivity and higher Qts, however our massive 4” voice coil and huge motor make up for the difference, and that’s our unique contribution: To give you high power, high output, and the absolutely lowest distortion around with no compromise. The LMS is the only driver you need.

Of course we also included all the other features that set our drivers apart like our ultra wide linear suspension system, patented tool-less detachable top assembly and unique single piece alloy dish cone. The LMS’s linear voice coil is quite a bit larger than just about everything, but we still ensure that it runs at the lowest temperatures possible to prevent non-linear thermal compression and parameter shifts that compromise the headroom and dynamics. Sure, the LMS is able to take abuse, and like our other drivers, we also back it with a full lifetime warranty that noone can match.
