Apart from our original design efforts, extraordinary performance and product evolutionary influences, Audiopulse is proud to support and warranty every single product we make to be free of manufacture defects for the lifetime that you own it. This bold statement is part of our commitment to our products and services because we feel if you own the world’s best product, you need to own the world’s best service with that product.
Audiopulse designs many driver products with patented detachable top assemblies that makes potential repairs a simple five minute ordeal. Audiopulse’s patented top assemblies are by far the easiest and fastest way to “recone” or repair a broken, damaged or destroyed driver. The entire frame with all of the soft-parts can easily come off without glue or any additional tools not provided with the product. The other good news is, we can ship you out a top assembly without requiring any parts to be shipped back to us, so downtime is minimal. If damage beyond the warranty does occur, then like changing the ties on your car, you don’t need to buy a new driver but simply replace the less expensive top assembly.
Warranty includes:
- All manufacture defects.
- All obvious cosmetics.
- Improperly glued surrounds, suspensions, formers or misaligned coils.
- Detached or unglued surrounds.
- Broken cones from any forces from the driver itself not related to the impact of bottoming out the voice coil.
- Voice coils that collide with the gap or t-yoke under normal conditions where no preexisting abuse has occurred.
- Alignment of the voice coil.
- Motor glues.
Warranty does not include:
- Tampered or removed serial numbers.
- Misuse or over excursion.
- Thermal abuse to the voice coil or glues around the voice coil.
- Thermal abuse to the lead wires on the spiders.
- Dents in the cone from bottoming out the driver or inadvertent force.
- Dents in the voice coil former from bottoming out.
- Delimitation of the voice coil former due to heat.
- Stretched spiders from over excursion or misuse.
- Objects becoming lodged inside the gap and disrupting the voice coil.
- Any damage occurring while putting power to a top assembly without a motor attached.
- Scratches or dents in the cone done by user or other cosmetic abuse.
- Spider sag due to gravity in a down or up firing position for many years
- Over-excursion from playing the driver outside a box, or in a box when no proper high pass filter is employed.
- SPL “burping” beyond the specified maximum power limits.
- Any damage occurring from improper voice coil wiring including any other configuration not listed or recommended by us.
- Damage due to moisture.
- Shipping damages.
- Custom service or modification to the driver not performed by Audiopulse.
- Fire started by the voice coil or voice coil leads.
- Static noise or hum emitting from driver from unwanted electrical influences.
- Cosmetic damage.
- Consequential damage on other components.
